The plenary session of the 2008 ICFR Conference will feature Dr. Joseph Pleck, Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, who will speak on “FATHERHOOD.” Dr. Pleck is a prolific researcher and author on the topics of fatherhood, gender, and adolescent sexuality.
The theme NURTURING GENERATIONS is broad. Consider presenting a round table, leading a concurrent session, or preparing a poster on your current research. These activities give the conference participants an opportunity to share, discuss, and learn from each other.

The program on Sunday morning, April 5 th , will focus on careers and opportunities in areas of human relations. We encourage students to participate in these discussions. In order for ICFR and NCFR to continue fulfilling their purposes, it is paramount to nurture new professionals.
